If you live in an area that has hard water or well water your toilet bowl can become badly stained with ugly iron and other mineral deposits. You might even think you that need to replace your old toilet. Here is how you can easily make an old stained toilet look like brand new! Just follow these simple steps:
- First, bucket flush – lower the water level in the bowl by quickly pouring a bucket of water in it.
- Next, squirt a generous amount of Watkins toilet bowl cleaner around the bowl and under the rim.
- Now go relax, have a cup of tea or beverage of your choice and let the cleanser do the work.
- After you’ve finished your tea or in 15 minutes or so go back and give the bowl a quick swab with a soft bowl brush then simply flush all the stains away.
Wasn’t that easy? And your bowl should look like brand new. Extreme cases may need a second application or you can do steps 1 and 2 before you go out to work or before you go to bed, allowing the cleanser a longer time to work.
Watkins toilet bowl cleanser is so powerful it’s only recomended for use on vitreous china, the material toilets are made of. Use weekly, a small squirt and quick swab is all you need to do to prevent further mineral stain build up.
